Inspired by a red-tailed hawk I spotted after an ice storm in Gaylord, Michigan, in March 2025. Painted along the trail and finished in my South Carolina studio. Framed by my son, Thad, in March 2026.
Apparently even on a cold, miserable day in northern Michigan, something worth eating will eventually come along.
